Layered upon threads stretched across a backdrop of 100-year-old Belgian antique lace is a still life inspired by

17th-century Dutch painting — not the splendor of flowers in full bloom, but a beauty that embraces even what comes after the bloom

The depth of the print is created not by the number of colors, but by layers of time.

As a Vanitas, salamanders, snails, spiders, and bees are quietly set within the splendor. Only those who discover them will realize that a shadow lies beneath the sweetness.

What this dress seduces is not “cuteness,” but a dignity that allows one to approach, yet never easily to touch.

—For those who seek not attention, but “stature.”

The fabric is shantung, chosen in reference to a painter’s canvas.

The sheen does not boast, it is restrained just enough to refine the shadows, allowing the flowers and allegories to rise to the surface. The moment you put it on, the motif speaks first—your presence requires no words.

Before the mirror, you are left with the sensation of being perfectly aligned.

Navy: The lowest in saturation, sharpening the contours of the flowers and the shadows of the lace. Sweetness is subtracted, stillness increases. A color in which distance itself becomes beauty.

Dark Bordeaux: The most classical. The red does not assert itself, but works as a “depth” that settles beneath the skin, supporting the weight of the flowers. A color that carries the warmth of tradition.

Black: Designed so that the flowers rise with the highest saturation. Though the splendor appears at its peak, there is also the scent of an ending in the air. A black whose momentary intensity remains in memory.
