End of sale

Soul, or vessel——Even that boundary becomes attire.
Inspired by the fantastical conceit in Nicolas de Larmessin II’s «Les Costumes grotesques et les métiers»,
where professions are transformed into costume,
animal engravings are layered upon it.
Is it the beasts pretending to be human,
or humans borrowing the trace of beasts —— a dress that encloses that mirrored relationship within a single print.
Not cuteness, but a beauty that belongs to one who embraces duality.
The closer one draws, the more the engraved strokes and reversals of imagery emerge,
leaving not the impression of someone ornate, but of someone imbued with meaning.
A piece that lends intelligence and a trace of unease to dress.
Printed on subtly lustrous shantung woven with slub yarn.
Ivory × Green Gold brings the engraved strokes into luminous relief,
Black × Purple Silver lets the imagery settle like the binding of a weighty old book.
Two editions that read the same mirrored image at different temperatures.
